I tried that a few times. I have a very physical job and that just wore me out quicker, so I now wait the lines and try to time our outings to less busy times, with looking forward to the addition of the new lift.

That works too.

Around here we don't have singles lines. Well, we do but they are narrow "fit 2 people and try to snake the other groups" lines. Drives us nuts.

Sounds like your new lift will help in your case though, enjoy it!

Slyder, all I can say is that I truly feel sorry for you and your family. You are the man. Racking up the vert...300 ft, 3 times per hour for a 20 minute line and 30 sec black diamond run...with a high speed quad they are just putting more gapers on that little knob to run into. I'm speechless...I rather be bowling. However, back in the day got to see some Dead shows at Alpine Valley.

Hey, Danny Davis grew up riding that place! I've been there once about 2 years ago, my first season snowboarding and the terrain park looked well put together. Hopefully the new lift will keep up with the lines!
