Missed the expo. Didn't pay attention to it's existence until it was too late. Good times??

Atrus: The expo was a little disappointing they had a ton of little vendors but no brands there to check out gear.

To everyone else: If you think Hyland and Buck are premier places here in minnesota then you need seriously rethink what your doing cause Buck and Hyland get icy real fast and then there is the little punk kids that hangout at Hyland and are rude to every one and Buck is just boring the Park is decent as long as you go during the day on a weekday cause if you go on the weekend the park is gonna be rutted out and if you are gonna be a latenight boarder then dont go to any of them cause they will be so icy I have heard people compare them to glaciers.

Rumor has it wild is going to be open this weekend.... Anyone going?

I was thinking about going but they are only gonna have like 3 or 4 runs open if they do open and plus it hasnt been cold enough for snow to stick whether it be natural or man made the physics behind it are against it

So is it just me or does it really suck that everywhere else has snow EXCEPT MINNESOTA the one place that everyone know for its cold winters and tons of snow but yet on monday it was 60* outside

60? idk where you are but we have about 4 inches on the ground up here, another 6 on the way friday. lakes are freezing up, the hills are making snow 24/7. shred season is upon us

I agree it sucks to hear about other states with snow. Metro area has nothing, though I did hear about the snow up north.... Welch posted online that they plan to start making snow by this weekend, getting so close!

Lived in Alexandria and boarded Andes Tower Hills last year. While it's nothing impressive, size wise, it does get the job done. I had the luxury of going during the day, during the week. I was usually one of maybe 20 people. The snow last season was epic so I actually had 4-5 days of fresh tracks for a few hours.

I live in the middle of South Dakota now. I'd MUCH rather be back there. I'm 4 hours from Terry Peak (which is noticeably bigger) but now I have to plan for a full day and potentially overnight when I want to go.

Heading back up that way for Thanksgiving. Stoked to ride on the Saturday after.

Also: I'm going to Snowball and Lutsen is the bomb. I love Mystery mountain. Sugar Maple run is the bomb.

Monday was warm today was so cold that the pond behind my girlfriends house froze over and today you could literally smell the snow even though nothing was coming down
