Woke up to 6-7 inches today in central SD. I hear it started snowing in St. Cloud an hour or two ago. It's on the way, bro.

Snow! We didn't get more than an inch by me, but its a start.
If I may poll the masses with a possibly stupid question: white helmets on guys, kosher or not to be done? Checked out a giro helmet, in white, then the wife asked me if white was for ladies...ha.

I learned at Trollhaugen, haven't been back, heard the park is good, but again, thats not what I'm into yet.
Afton is great but you have to know how to get around to make the best of it, when their spinning all 18 lifts and everything's open i'ts a blast, no tow rope at the parks though which seems to piss people off.

Just a reminder to my fellow Minnesota riders. Snowball 2012 is coming up fast. It's not too late to get tickets, as far as I know.

Snowball 2012

Come up to Lutsen and get buck wild with Jon Wayne & The Pain, Roster McCabe, Wookiefoot, Useful Jenkins and others! 3 days of boarding and bands. It's going to be BUCK WILD!

I'm just hoping for some serious snow before it kicks off. The last month has been painful.

Has anyone been to granite peak in WI? I just booked online lift tickets, and am heading there MLK Day Weekend... hoping everyone doesn't come back saying it sucks ( I know there are some of you holdouts that will undoubtedly say "it sucks" ha). A friend convinced me to try it instead of Lutsen this year, I am thinking I will regret this choice, but it's worth a shot. I'm not looking for a perspective on their park so much, I'm not much of a jibber.

BTW - this winter sucks. Where's the damned snow? Went to Welch last weekend, had to be careful not to slip off the groomed stuff into the grass.
