Alpine Valley is open all Week 2-10 and this weekend I think 10-10 double ck the weekend hours. Trying to make it once this week and most of the weekend.
Sure was cold this morning 13*

wilmot will also have 2 runs open. exhibition and broadway. and be charging full price.

Alpine has about 7 runs open. at full price.

Drove by this afternoon and it looks like Wilmot will have more then just those two open.

Nice to see them open today! Pulled up the live video and got to see maybe a dozen or so skiing and boarding. Sure beats being at work. Should of taken today off!

Damn, as much as I've been kind of hating on this place lately (for Midwest season pass prices), watching that live video feed has me wanting to head out there now. It's sure as hell better than nothing and looks like there is fun to be had compared to being cold and miserable in Chicago all winter.

Was thinking of trying to get up to Alpine this weekend but with the warm weather I think I will finish up some outdoor work that needs to get done. Anyone been to Alpine yet?

My kid went Wed said it was a blast another buddy went yesterday if I got the days right and said the snow was awesome.

Both said park was minimal which this time of year is a certainty. The new park manager is trying for much better park and as of now he has delivered. 4 rail features and some small rollers. Not much I know but very early, again bad temps and it is more than they had out till almost late Dec last year.

I will be there all day Saturday and possibly tonight for a bit and not sure when Sunday. I will try to post here the condition but cooler early next week again so that will help. I may just not ride high sun or take a nap or just cruise the green section.

Riding anything is better than not riding or yard work

was at alpine thursday. like 80 percent open. with rails and jumps... its getting warm the snow is going to be doing that thing it does, melting.

Anyone know how the area is holding up with the rain and warmth? Looks like cold and snow at the end of the week.
