Wilmot Hill- I mean Mountain!
 

Just drove past Wilmot and was disappointed that it was pitch black. Temp outside right now is 26 and dropping. This would seem like great time to be working on laying down a nice base. I read on Alpine Valleys site today that they have been making snow the last 2 days and will be again tonight.

I was at Alpine and took one of the pics on their FB page. I know they will be open Thanksgiving weekend not sure about this weekend, really depends on the weather.

Sunburst had a hiking session last night in West Bend and Little Switz in Slinger is also making as much snow as they can to open asap

I couldnt tell if they have started yet but was really surprised last night.

Bet most of that is melted by now. This warm weather sucks.

You got that right. I just pulled up the website and can't believe that they aren't taking advantage of this cold that we just got. Snow machines are not running at all again. I can't believe it.

My guess is they will blow tonight to be open next weekend Dec 1st. As it isn't cheap to make snow to have it just melt like it did last week. The forecast is only calling for mid 30's day and low 20's at night so that is good news

A couple hills to the North have started to blow snow this afternoon, so keep those fingers crossed.

Well they finally started making snow a few hours ago. Hopefully they continue for the next few days without any interuptions and we should be all set by next weekend. Haven't heard if Alpine or anyone else around has been making any today or tonight.

I unofficially heard Alpine turned the guns on tonight.

Email from Wilmot today said they are opening Wednesday. Drove by tonight and snow makers are working like crazy! Attachment 8998
