Vail Resorts Corporate | Vail Resorts to Acquire Two Ski Areas in Midwest, Afton Alps in Minnesota and Mount Brighton in Michigan

Mind blown, living in Utah now but dam so many fun nights at AA, original member of Afton Alps First Tracks group.

Not sure but if it does as a Minnesota local you might as well just buy an EPIC pass for what they want for a normal afton alps pass these days.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. Afton is perfect for what it is.

Yea I hear ya, IMO they take better care of the surface(ie grooming) than anywhere in the metro.....maybe they can talk the state park service into giving up some more land to the resort so they finally expand?

Expansion would be good but I dont think that would ever happen.

I really like the kinda shitty chalet and food, and the cheap strong drinks.

It's going to turn into a urban yuppie douche fest. Fuck this just gets worse the more I think about it. You can't run these Midwest hills like a western resort.
