I wear a size 12 boot and didn't have too much issue riding regular width board but once I tried a wide board I loved them.

We're getting closer and the weather looks great coming up. Looks like GP should get a little bit snow through the week and then nice low 30's for the temps this weekend. Can't wait!
Now I need to start figuring out what gear to bring and get a fresh coat of wax on the board.

Any other forum members care to join us at Granite Peak to ride and have a great time this weekend!!!!
Looks like about 10 of us so far. I am also going over our gear, waxing the boards and making a packing list.

Nothing to pack here. Being local has its perks
Got another SD card for my Contour today and hope to get some good footage of our event this weekend. I'll have a lift op take some group photos as well. They might just make next years brochure. Bag jump is up all weekend. Sugar Maple terrain park rebuilt with new jump line. Aspen Park has 23 jibs + other features. Glade runs are open as well as 98% of the hill. Not expected to be large crowds this weekend. The hill owner will also be in town so lifts will be running at max efficiency lol. Planned on riding for a bit on Wednesday, but now thinking I should probably get my board ready for a full slate of riding. I'll be "practicing" on Friday night if anyone is in town already. I've been telling everyone to park as close to the Comet lift as you can on Saturday. Might be bringing my portable grill...my cooking is better than at the chalet. If you have any questions or need to call/text me, just shoot me a PM. |

Sounds good Derp, I'll send you a pm with my number. Comet is the high speed lift on the right, rite?
They just had the air bag at my local hill this past weekend. Kind of cool to watch but they wanted $10 for 3 jumps and you had to have a helmet so we didn't do it. As I told Slyder we should be there around noon Saturday.
