Cascade Mountain - Snowboarding Forum

Heading up there today at 1:30 from northern IL to meet up with a old friend. Post n here if you'll be up there today. I'll take some pictures as usual. So far this year I've been to 4 different places. I go at least once a week, usually on a weekday. I really don't like weekend day riding either.

Do you prefer Cascade over Devilshead? I couldn't stand the layout at Cascade and most of their difficult runs were the length of bunny hills. Just curious but hope you have a good ride today. I would rather be at Cascade then work, that's for sure. Have fun!

Never been to DH. Friends went to Cascade and said it was tight

I liked it. The park was cool. Wish I took pics. I was too busy riding. I hit some boxes and rails I've never seen. I had a lot of fun.

I've been to both and my friends and I prefer DH, most of the runs are longer and they layout is good. You should give it a try if you get a chance.

We're going to DH next Thursday. Cascades park was pretty good and I had fun. If DH is better that's great!

Devil's Head's park blows some dick. They could have easily taken one of the big 3 black diamonds and moved all of the random terrain and thrown it in one run. But instead they chose to space out one or two boxes across the entire hill, and then absolutely massive, pro-sized features in the middle of nowhere.

Sorry, but I hate their park with a passion.
