Default What program do you use for music?

Like the title states..
I just picked up a new HP Envy windows 8, touchscreen laptop yesterday.. and i have to start out fresh on here for music.
What programs do you use for music? It came with 'HP connected music'.. which i don't like.
I downloaded itunes, but its not showing up on my screen anywhere!

What sites/programs do you use to download music?

Basically, i just want a good program to download music, and a good program to download music TO.

Need to start from fresh.. and i want different options that are good!
Thanks!

I use vuze and iTunes but i have a mac so iTunes is a little more optimized, vuze works fine for me as a bit torrent client.

i always set my preference that any dl's go to the desktop instead of some hidden folder, that saves hours, lol

latest version of itunes is really great imo, they did a lot of tweaks that make sense

this is my other fav tool..
YouTube to MP3 Converter: Free Vevo, YouTube Converter

I pretty much just use VLC for audio and of course video too. It just handles so many formats which is nice. I believe iTunes can convert stuff into mp3 as well for the odd time you download a flac file.

Google Play Music, or Amazon MP3. Fuck iTunes, unless you have an iPod.

iTunes is generally a GARBAGE bloated poorly programmed application. Hogs resources like no other program I've ever seen, for no apparent reason at all.

I use foobar2000 for playing mp3's, it's the best.
