I've got a pair of JayBird Bluebud X's and love 'me. They're wireless earbuds and I use them all the time. Snowboarding, running, cutting the grass. They use bluetooth to hook up to your playlist on your phone or iPod. Pretty simple. It's always a hassle to get in and out of your jacket pocket to switch tracks, answer a phone call or what not. It has buttons below the right earbud where you can switch tracks, adjust volume, and take incoming calls. I haven't heard any complaints from people taking to me on the phone using the buds...no interference or not being able to hear you or vice versa. Wireless is the way to go and quality of sound isn't too bad. It's not beats by dre quality, but gets it done for the simplicity.

Skullcandys are sick...they do get destroyed fairly easily. But, i mean. mine have gotten destroyed. mainly due to lack of taking care of. But thats why they have a sick warranty.

The best solution my sister and I have found are ZED-phones. Flat Bluetooth Speakers stitched into really good headbands and beanies. We got ours from
ZEDphones - Bluetooth Headphones but I think they're in stores too. They deliver globally for free anyway.

Sounds quality was good. They play a whole day straight without a charge. Standby for days and have a wireless distance of about 10 metres. Long story short, They are the tits.
Your first post is to resurrect an ancient thread, that was a previously resurrected ancient thread?

Welcome to the forum.
Maybe you are the tits.

I did the same with a cheapy from Walmart $10 and some plastic surgery slipped into my helmet and it's like listening to music in your car without anything in/on your ears. LOVE IT.

Skullcandy's are cheap.. but if you live in Utah and go to Parkcity the headquarters replace nearly any broken pair you hand them no questions asked.. just walk in.. hand over your broken pair, thank the man and walk out.

Maybe this is just my strong opinion... but anyone that rides with "noise cancelation headphones" is a jackass. I'm sorry, I don't care how "good" of a rider you "think" you are.. but there's always a good reason to turn the volume down just a smidge. Nothing more annoying to me than coming up behind someone and yelling "I'm on your left!!!" as I go to pass and they're completely clueless to anything around them. Maybe it hasn't happened yet but there will come a time when shit could have been easily avoided had they been able to hear LOUD noise within a ten foot radius. *end rant*

I did something very similar. Bought some Koss headphones off of amazon Amazon.com : Koss KSC75 Portable Stereophone Headphones : Electronics. Broke off the ear clips and slipped them into the ear pads. Voila, headphones for $15.

Cool, thats more or less what I was thinking of doing but wanted some idea of brands or styles that people have had success with.

There are durable and great quality headphones you can get for less than $100. Just like Bose IE2 Audio Headphones and Plantronics BackBeat Go 2. You can check out their reviews on this site: The Best Headphones under 100 dollars in 2014 in Every Category | Best Headphones Reviews - Which Cans Have the Best Sounds and at the Best Price?

For in helmet audio CHIPS - Universal Bluetooth Wireless Snow Helmet Audio - Outdoor Tech®
These are the shit
I ride with these Wireless Earbuds with Bluetooth for iPhone, iPod, Android & More - OutdoorTechnology.com
No reason to ride with anything other then bluetooth. even if your ipod doesn't have a bluetooth system you can buy one for like 10 bucks.
