Same here! I went with the Cowon because I couldn't listen to the clix in the store. I'm too scared to take it snowboarding with me since my last cell phone got wet in the rain and died (so much for Gore-Tex), but I've dropped it plenty of times and it's always been fine.

I ride with a shitty MuVo 256mb flash mp3 player. It can stand water and shocks and it runs on batteries, so if i run out of power, I just put in a new one and good to go!
Don't wanna risk my ipod, they break easily if you whipe out.

we in america dont use trains. or even carpool. We have at least one car for every man woman and child, and we never allow passengers, we use gas like its water, and dont dare buy new products out of fear of social discontinuity. So well never stop buying ipods, and never stop driving our SUV's by ourselves and never ride the train. If we could save the environment and watch videos on a sleek little player, what would we do with our tv screens in our dashboard?

We who live in the major metropolitan cities of America and not the boonies, have no choice but to use the train.

i use a sandisk sansa e130 with a 2gb sd card in it:

i like it because it has no moving parts (except the volume control) so it's reliable when i am riding and it cost me only $18 on ebay
