Amazing musicians, unreal vocals (chick vocalist), badass live! Not for the faint-of-ears!

Hilariously awesome video and song title! Brutal breakdown at 0:59. If you get that far and can't handle it, at least make sure you skip ahead to about 2:08...one of my favorite metal moments.

I love this video.

I was suprised to hear Agalloch's "Limbs" on That's It, That's All during Jeremy Jones' part. However, I think I remember hearing they were out of the PNW area, so that started to make sense. They are kind of a niche band, even in a genre like heavy metal.

Give their albums, Pale Folklore and The Mantle a listen. Both superb!

Blotted Science is one of my favs. An uber-technical, instrumental "math metal" band. Each song on their recently released 7-song EP "The Animation of Entomology" is composed as a soundtrack to a movie clip featuring insects. The musicianship and the way each song is "synched" to the movie clips is incredible!

just a couple i've enjoyed lately that havent been mentioned:

the agonist (girl singer, very heavy like iwrestledabearonce

arch enemy (another bad ass, fast, heavy group with a girl singer)(ok stillz said arch enemy already )

zombeast (misfits-esque, maybe not metal metal, but its like danzig's lovechild) lots of cool gothic lyrics, but i think they broke up a year ago or something.

Hmm, not sure if i have mention them before but cannabis corpse is a good death metal band.

Yes it's a tribute(can't think of the right word right now) band. But none the less they're pretty good.

Thanks for the reminder, I need to buy Animals as Leaders' new album...the couple of tracks I've heard are right in my sweet spot! The addition of a real drummer makes such a huge difference!

Possessed has always been one of my favorite metal bands. Larry LaLoude from Primus, played on the album I have in the 80s. Spotify has the Possessed album Agony in Paradise, a live album with Larry LaLonde on Guitar. Larry really helped and defined the future in metal guitar. The singer uses no processed voice effects.
