Default Shreddin' beats

This thread has probably been done and redone at least a million times but hey, who doesnt enjoy some good beats? I was updating my play list for the season and boy am I getting stoked.
What kind or music do you ride to? Any artists or songs that get you pumped to rip it?

Give me some old school hip hop and I can ride for days at a time. Shout outs to Rakim, The Roots, Run DMC, A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Immortal Technique, and my favourite white boy.. Slim (not old school, but he kills it).

It depends what kind of riding I'm doing. If it's laid back riding taking in the flow, then I go with old school hip hop like Tag team (whoop there it is? Hell yes!) and modern rock like MGMT and modest mouse. But for hard charging agressive go big and take chances then there is no other option than RISE AGAINST.

Dano! I like your taste in music.

I've never really given Godsmack a chance, maybe I'll give their stuff a listen

For the laid back flow stuff I like some of the previously mentioned, plus a little M83, Muse, 3OH3, The Cool Kids, maybe even a little CCR, or Steppenwolf. Then for some more aggressive stuff, Rise Against, Dropkick Muphys, Jedi Mind Tricks, Rage Against The Machine, The Offspring, Rancid, Transplants

for the pow pow, i like to go with funk and old motown. #1 is MJ's Thriller album. its like making love to the snow. its almost unfair once ya get some marvin gaye, al green, aretha franklin, stevie wonder, and the temptations gets goin. that shit'll make mountains pregnant.

for park/jumps i'll mix some dirty swamp blues and metal in with the motown. The Black Keys, JJ Grey & Mofro, Buddy Guy, Tony Joe White, the Allmans. then some heavy shit with Pantera, Lamb of God, A Life Once Lost, Killswitch Engage, Anthrax, Slayer, etc.
