Tool's best work was in the 90s. Oh and I fucking hate assholes who think that people who don't like the band are somehow unintelligent. Worst kind of pretentious music fans the lot of em.

Top 3 albums of the decade?

I've never even heard of Arcade Fire,
and the only Daft Punk song I know is that "Blue" song and that annoys me.

Radiohead... eh, I respect them, they've had a few good songs.

Maybe I'm just old. But I like Daft Punk.

I am a Vermonter living in California showing the locals how to keep it real!

I really just don't know them. What do they do - Is it all dance pop like that song? Or am I way off base?

"Blue" was Eiffel 65, not Daft Punk. Daft Punk is basically dance/pop, which isn't normally my cup of tea, but "Discovery" is always a happy listen.

Haha you beat me to it

I'm still pretty fond of Green Day - Dookie

And Rise Against has my attention for current times

Now I feel all tarded...

Apologizing... NOW!
Going to go find Daft Punk and judge for myself.
If I remember right my mechanic (auto) loves them, but he is weird.

I was going to ask, "where's Lateralus, or even 10,000 Days"? Or where's Mer de Noms or Renegades (RatM), etc... This list, as are most of its kind, is terrible.

OP is thinking of either Da Funk or Around the World. Those were the two Daft Punk hits from early 2000's.

Because it's all based on opinion, and believe it or not, Tool doesn't appeal to some people. I liked them back in the 90's myself. I still listen to them on occasion, but I've moved on for the most part. They don't suck, but there's better music out there.
