Agreed. The Smith audio sounds way better then the RED IMO. I have a Smith Holt with Skullcandy "Single shot" and it works great! I don't personally like riding with buds or big ear covering phones because I like to hear other noises in my surroundings. I just wish it got a little louder to drown out more skiers in the gondola!!

What do you guys wear? Whats the most comfortable?

(And Im not down with the big skull candy headphones...No offense to anyone who wears them, just not for me. I am looking for something small that no one else can see)
Ive owned a pair of smokin' buds, titan's, and skullcrushers. Out of all of them, my fav were the titans. Because their small, super awesome sound, and they stick in your ear cuz they have little silicone sucktion cup things the fit your ear nicely. Odd for a little while, but quite comfortable if you dont ram them into your ears. The bass is mega awesome. even compared to the skull crushers (the ones with the sub-bass boosters) they raped them out of the water. But for those who ride with the larger headphones, i would recomend Icon's and doubble agents. Ti's, Gi's, hesh's and skull crushers are too large to wear.

They do break fast, so treat them very very well. Dont wrap them around your ipod, always keep them straight or hand roll them into their pouch.

I knowwww I used to wear a helmet. I actually retired it when I got to Utah last season and it just never came back out of retirement. They really aren't that bad....my head definitely stayed warm and it never really bothered me. To be completely honest with you, I just felt like I looked funny. I know it sounds dumb...but thats the honest truth. I would see pics of myself with the helment and be like ewwwwww lol.

i use buds, its uncomfortable for a new minutes, but i get used to it
i cant stand ipod ones, not because they fall out because my helmet is fairly tight, but because they have shit sound quality and i have to blast my music to hear it as well
i also wear earbuds about 20 hours a day so im used to it
if the buds hurt your ears maybe switch them out and try diff kinds of buds
