do u guys have any suggestions on good songs to listen to while riding?
i love listening to music while im hitting the slopes, but im looking for some new music. i enjoy listening to basically anything with a good beat, except im not rly into rap music. it would be cool if u guys have any nice songs/artists that u would like to share with me ![]() as i said, mostly anything with a good beat and a catchy tone, perhaps not like rock/hard rock music either. not that i dont love that kind of music, i listen to it alot, but for snowboarding im looking for something else as i have tons of rock music already ![]() so any music with good beat and catchy tone, perhaps not rap oriented music, but im not against exploring something new either

I would suggest 311, Cage the Elephant, Wyclef, Flobots, and some Reel Big Fish. I could go on, but those should start you out and set you in the right direction.

Here are some really great bands, hope you like: Passion Pit, Alexisonfire, Phoenix, Noah and The Whale, Fall of Troy, The Rural Alberta, Advantage, Lacrosse, miike snow, Island, Arcade Fire, Vampire Weekend, Modest Mouse, M83, MGMT, Empire of the Sun, Apostle of Hustle, Kidstreet. The 'Cut the Crap' playlist at thepiratebay.com is pretty good.

Not sure whats considered a "good beat" anymore lol. My mp3 is loaded with old school skate punk. I like the more aggresive nature of it.
Black Flag T.S.O.L. A.F.I. Circle Jerks D.R.I. Bad Religion Fear Some of the more mainstream stuff Offspring Pennywise K.M.K. Sublime Rage against the machine Clutch Probably not the "beats" you younger guys are into, but just a few suggestions for something different. My playlists will definatly bump up the amplitude a bit lol. |

Awesome! I've heard some Streetlight Manifesto, and I think I heard some Big D from Last.fm's "Music you might like" channel. I mostly love older ska like The Hippos, Goldfinger, Mustard Plug, and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Oh and the Pietasters, and of course Operation Ivy and.... oh geeze, I could on for a long time. Anyways, point being, Love me some Ska! And it's great for shredding the hill too!
