Pretty much the most progressive/rocking/uniquely_groovy band of my generation. They'll stand the test of time. I'll be listening to these guys 30 years from now, when i'm 60.

Yeah, they come through once a year. Saw them in 94 without ever hearing a song, blew my fucking mind. went to 311 day in 2004, I had whiplash for a week. :laugh:

I don't admit that very often. They've written so many hits, plus all kinds of great music that no one else can even touch.

I like the song Hive, Guns are for pussies is also a good tune.

Get Transistor. Hands down one of the most creative albums ever. It took me along time to appreciate it, but most quality albums do. It takes a minute to wrap your head around it.

i have an old 311 tape with live stuff and a ton of back stage/tour bus stuff. those guys smoke A LOT of pot, lol.

definately a great band. i had the chance to see them and OAR when i was in college but i missed it. my friends said it was awesome. the entire crowd sparked on up when they played amber.

love that band they are one of my favorites i still haven't seen them in concert but i bet they have a badass show.

I see 30 live shows a year, 311 has the most energy. The whole crowd bounces. They are the real deal, can't nobody do it like 311.
