Default Riding tunes that go hard.

Check these artist out, as they are my favorite music to ride too. Actually had the chance to meet the members of SAVOY, and DVS from Prettylights and they ride as well.
Both are based out of Boulder, CO.

I enjoy that SAVOY music so far, can you download their whole cd for free? I'm a big Tiesto and Antoine fan, so I love all that electronic stuff, especially for boarding.

ya you can actually download all their stuff from there. Tiesto is sick, hopefully one day ill get out to see him.
Derek from Pretty lights has stepped the electronic music scene up big time. Throwing in tasty samples from popular music, mixing them with a dubstep/ adventure feel is perfect for the mtn. I love that feeling when im riding and the music is building you up and then drops right as you hit the lip of a kicker. its perfect haha.

My snowboard mix on my ipod are of the following
Savoy
Prettylights
Beastie Boys
Rage Against the Machine
MGMT

I'm too new to ride while listening to music (don't want to break my iPod lol). I typically listen to a lot of hardcore/pop-punk/metalcore when I'm just relaxing, but I've found that those don't pump me up the right way for snowboarding. For some reason, rap and hip-hop are what do it for me. There's actually a Wu-Tang/Beatles mash-up (not as corny as it sounds) that's got the right vibe to get me going.

Yes, Tiesto is phenomenal to see live. I saw him when he came to Dallas last, it goes on my top 5 concerts of all time.

savoy is decent, I love pretty lights though. Rolled to them in concert in Nashville. Amazing live! Dubstep is the shit too. Check out their mimosa stuff. Really good.

Tiesto is a joke.... So is Paul Oakenfold and Paul Van Dyk and even Christopher Lawrence.

Pretty lights def rock.... Love that they're local

If you guys like Pretty Lights you should check out Eoto when they come to town. They always play a 100% original set each time. They're former members of String Cheese actually.
