rage against the machine will definitely keep you pumped on the way to the mountain. thats what we used to listen to on the way to the mountain when we were in college.

also try shiny toy guns and innerparty system

as for rap go with immortal technique

thats a wide variety that should keep you going for that drive.

sorry no country suggestions cause country blows. lucero is the closest i can get to country but check them out cause those guys are awesome.

Shiny Toy Guns is good stuff. Rage gets you pumped to do anything. I like to listen to Jurassic 5 for Hip Hop on the way and on the mountain has a good flow to it.

Some of Mos Defs' stuff isn't bad, There is one song "Wylin Out the RJD2 remix" that is just sick and garunteed to get you pumped to ride. But it also depends on your taste if you looking for more rock or metal just look for something with great breakdowns in it.

Metallica's "Kill'em All" (must have), a little Billy Idol, some Slayer, the clash, throw some Big L, Wu Tang and Imortal Technique into the mix and for the ride home... Louis Armstrong "What a wonderful world".

Anything from Comeback Kid's first 2 records will get you pumped up, especially Wake the Dead.
