Don't mind my stupid name, I need some hip-hop please enlighten me with your playlists.
Something along the lines of Atmosphere, Felt, Aesop Rock, Eyedea, Sage Francis, People under the Stairs, Raekwon, etc. Please don't tell me something obvious like Gangstarr or Tupac. I need new stuff, doesn't mean 2010-2011 music but stuff I have yet to discover. Can even be instrumentals like Nujabes or Blue Sky Black Death, something you can get lost in the music to. +1 for Blackstar, and the rest of that.
Um.. the obvious... Beasties KRS-one Tribe Called Quest De La Soul Biggie... The new Gorillaz album features Mos Def on a couple tracks. It's pretty good, too. Not all hip hop, but just good. The newest Mos Def album features Slick Rick on a really sick track. Just get The Ecstatic. That's the new Mos album. Um... Talib Kweli. The rest of Wu. Jay Electronica MF Doom? Just throwing out what I like. Check out that thread about the hip hop mixes.
