Headphones Under Helmet
Hey what can you everyone suggest for headphones that go under my helmet that aren't too expensive but aren't very flimsy. Thanks in advance, Connor

Your best bet is probably a set of earbuds. Depending on the shape of your ear canal the buds should stay in place pretty easily, and if not the ear flaps on the helmet should hold them in place. Just remember to keep enough slack in the cord to keep them from popping out when you turn your head...

Pretty much what heeb said, i just bought some cheap in ear earbuds. They are pretty good actually, well good for the price that is. And with the access cord, tuck that into a pocket or into your jacket, whatever works for you.

Ear buds are the way to go. Since you don't want flimsy but you don't want expensive, I'd recommend Skull Candy Titan's. The cord is nylon or some kinda rope so theyll last longer and won't freeze on the mountain. PLUS, they gotta cool rasta colored pair too. :-D
$40. Skull candys may not have the best sound quality, but if you break your pair then hit up SC customer service, theyll replace em for free most times. :-) |

i saw a beanie hat on eBay yesterday from Skullcandy apparently they were blowing out some old stock. Built in earphones in the beanie, $9 and free shipping. Couldn't pass it up, even though I don't realy dig the giant ridiculous skull logo (I'm 30).

I can't wait for the day to come when headphones fit under helmets. I went to best buy lst year and bought 3 pairs of headphones thinking one would fit and none of them were even close. The easy part is making a thin band that goes under the helmet but where you'll run into a problem is the actual speaker/earmuff part because most helmets fit pretty snug around the ears. I have a gyro helmet with the gryo speakers and it's ok sound wise when you're not moving but once you start to ride the music gets washed out really badly. I tried the scull candy buds and theres no way i can keep those things in all day, after about 2 hrs my ears are in crazy pain because of pressure points. I went on a trip a couple weeks ago and left the helmet and used my headphones and i was in heaven.

i don't really see how i can be using the wrong size because i have to use the smallest ones or else they wont even fit in my ears. It might be my beanie thats causing it from the snug fit but who knows. I'm hooked on headphones anyway and there's no going back for me.

What I do is get some skullcandy icons and put them around the back of my neck so the pads are on my ear. Then i out put on my helmet to keep it in place. You have to get rid of the ear pads on youre helmet though or you wont hear |
