This is a thread I originally started which contains a lot of things like old Bad Religion, Lagwagon, NOFX, Rancid, Misfits, Dead Kennedys etc. I am continuing the thread and renaming it also adding to it so hopefully others will join in. I can't be the only regular poster/punk rocker here right?

I don't know if the bands I like are still considered punk or punk pop or post punk... I'm still a big Green Day fan... my favorite "punk pop" bands right now are Newfound Glory, Simple Plan, & Bowling for Soup.
I love all their songs, even the more recent albums where they've changed their style a bit...

Hey even if it's bubble gum as long as it's punk I don't really care that much. Thank you for contributing to the thread and letting me know that punks are still out there

So what defines skate punk or makes it diff. from punk, pop punk, post punk, etc... I need an encyclopedia to explain these differences...
