Hahah, I'm just kidding man. But yeah dubstep is literally one of the most popular/fastest growing genres around. My grandma knows what dubstep is!
Apparently haha. I've been getting into electronic/techno/dance/dubstep/whatever else a lot more lately & when I watched AoF I was like, I need to start listening to whatever that is ha. I'm a big death metal guy so i'm not to in tune with the whole dubstep scene but like I said, I'm just glad I know what it is so I can start listening to more of it.
Is it me or anyone else noticing that dubstep is hitting more and more snowsport footage. Nero Ghosts and Stuff remix in art of flight for instance.
Anyone enjoy it? I do personally. Check out this little piece right here same song as in Art of Flight
Amazing video BTW, when he jumped into that chute off that super sketch cornice...Gnar factor of 10.
The music is unique for the times and not as monotonous as Rave/house. Good vibe, great for film slow motion segments. I am a roots Reggae fan, so any comparison to actual dub step is funny because dub step to my ears is more dancehall or grime. This is different, but cool for what it is.
i guess i would say i just got into dubstep recently, about 6 months ago. since then i have pretty much adopted it as one of my top 3 genres to listen to. I didnt know there was a "diss" sub-sub genre of dubstep called bro-step...and apperently flux pavilion is brostep? i love flux pavilion haha. i also thought the video with rusko was pretty cool. i agree i dont want face melting brain boiling dub, i want it to flow and make sense, not like stevie wonder just started mashing a keyboard. but i suppose "brostep" is branching away from the techno/electronic side and going lower and i guess has lower rhythms and more wub wub.
