hahaha FUCK YEA DINO-RIDERS FLASHBACK!!!
there is no real dubstep in this thread. all that shit is whamp whamp techno. you can call it brostep if it makes you feel better, but its techno. OG dubstep was way more about samples than synthesizers... real dubstep uses dub reggae breaks. real dubstep:

"Brostep" doesn't have anything to do with techno. Techno came out of Detroit in the early 80's. "Brostep" takes its roots in dub basslines, 2-step and garage, and infuses with electro style productions hence its roots in London where garage and 2-step are also prominent.

well when i say 'techno' i'm just using the term generically... the new shit, or 'brostep' just sounds like Transformers raping Tiesto during a meth binge while the GoBots skeet transmission fluid all over the place.... whereas older dubstep is more like stoner rasta Transformers trying to form a reggae band but their dj just won't turn his shit down

at the end of the day, do you want to live your life by others, or do you want to live your life the way you want it. there is a nice quote that I like. POOR IS A MAN, WHOS' PLEASURES DEPEND UPON THE PERMISSION OF ANOTHER. I used to be in the electronic scene back in late 90's early 2000, and finding the fresh underground stuff used to be exciting, listening to stuff nobody head of, being all cool and all… and in the end, all the djs became commercial. that's the cycle. now i could care less. I listen to what makes my head nod. and if that is BROSTEP. then I am a BROSTEPPER!!! its like nirvana. in the beginning, they were all anti social, anti commercial, then became the face of popularity.
