To the OP, if you like Bob, you will love:

Lee "scratch" Perry ( BIG producer, produced many of Bob's songs, and an amazing artist himself).

The Ethiopians.

Junior Murvin

Eek A Mouse ( is a little strange, but good).

Heres a good one from "everyday is a saturday" by cookie the herbalist feat cali p

otherwise my fav groups are
1. Passafire - get all their songs, they're really good and mellow
2. Pepper - some good california reggae
3. Tribal Seeds - the name says it all

Wyclef is a pretty deep dude, know hes a lil mainstream but great nonetheless...the song "president" by him is prolly my fav...and for another newer artist with a lil hip hop, is Damian Marley, halfway tree is a great album. 10ft ganja plant is good, lots of instruments and not a ton of vocals....if you have pandora, thats a great way to find good artist too

Jr Reid may be oldschool but he's also pretty currant too. Collab tune with Jr Reid and Alborosie, Sicilian born reggae artist doing/done big things. Dope live artist too. Vibes for real.
