If you're happy with skullcandy's lower end, just go to tjmax, they almost always have them there and I don't think I've paid more than 10 bucks.

Well just ended up buying these.

NE-600 M/X

They're out of stock though currently so have to wait until Nov 2nd for them to ship out when they get the new stock in. They've been getting really solid reviews for best headphones under 30$ From what I read, these shit on skullcandys. Can't wait to try them out!

I have other ear buds that I wouldn't dare take on a mountain, like my davis tributes, my etymotics etc.. actually, etymotics make some what durable equipment, but I wouldn't risk it with those. I have these headphones and they are practically indestructible and they have decent sound quality too

I've had a bunch of Skullcandy earbuds because they have ok sound for the super discounted prices I've paid. The Ink'd & Smokin' suck, but the Titan & Full Metal Jacket have 10-11mm drivers and aren't too bad. They definitely don't last for sh!t though. I've warrantied 4-5 pairs with them, fortunately their warranty process is solid--simple, fairly quick turnaround, and I haven't been let down yet. Since I have 2-3 pairs at any given time, it wasn't much of an issue.

This is not a case of "you get what you pay for" since they're all made in China anyways. Everyone I know anybody that owns Beats by Dre earbuds that cost $100-150, and use it at the gym or boarding or anything besides inside of a humidor, has had to warranty theirs as well, and more than once too.

Well after about using these for a month, i definitely would recommend these to friends. Such nice crisp good bass without drowning out other high n low sounds. The flat wire really is nice feature since they don't tangle up like regular wired ones. I'm pretty impressed though for only spending 30$ on them. So if you're looking for some really great quality in ear air buds, check these out, you won't regret it.

ALL EARBUDS SUCK

It's like trying to bang an elephant with a mouses dick.

Even cheap ass headband style headphones are worlds better than the best earbuds.

Next thing I know somebody will come on here and tell me their Bose Acoustimas system has better sound than my Yamaha mains and subs.
