Default Got any country?

I don't know why but I've been on this huge country kick lately. Know any good country artists? And don't say Jason Aldean!

Zac Brown Knee Deep is perfect for a pwoder day. Same with Barefoot Blue Jean Night for night riding with friends. Those are the only two I dare to listen too.

Hank Williams
Hank Jr.
Hank III
Merle Haggard
David Allen Coe
George Jones
Waylon Jennings
Willie Nelson

best to stick with old school. Hank III is a real good time, the only sorta modern one of the bunch.

If you search for more modern music, I'd try to steer toward bluegrass. "All that pop country is just a bunch of fucking bullshit" Hank 3rd.

Conway Twitty and George Jones are both really good if you're looking for older country music.

This. Hank III is awesome.

I'll add Tracy Lawrence to that list too. I've always loved his stuff.

If you want modern, pretty much stick to Jamey Johnson and Eric Church. I don't really consider ZBB to be country, but they're great in concert. Don't go expecting country though. They played a handful of stuff off the albums, but mainly did a bunch of jams with Robert Randolph and the Family Band. It was fucking awesome.

Check out old crow medicine show. Start with the tune called Wagon Wheel.

Brantley Gilbert is good listening too, in the lines of Jason Adlean's sound.

I think I kind of like it because it was what I heard growing up as a kid in the late 60`- 70`s and so it is nostalgic to me. Modern country though makes me wanna projectile vomit!!!
I'm tellin' ya, give Jamey Johnson a listen. Definitely a throw back to the old school.

Been a "Die Hard" Rocker most of my life, but started getting into country 7-8 years ago! (...think it might b a midlife thing!)
Along with the "Classic guys already mentioned, here's a few I recommend for Good Shredding listening!

Mark Chestnutt; "Talking to Hank", Come on In ( The Whiskey's Fine"), "Bubba Shot The Jukebox" Great Upbeat fun country!

Just about ANY Alan Jackson! I think his name is Ray Scott; "My Kinda Music" Great song! (the song itself will provide a good list of songs!)

Big 'n' Rich have some really good stuff!

A few good "Truck Drivin'" songs,.. Garth Brooks; "Papa Loved Mama", Randy Travis, "Highway Junkie", Lee Ann Womack, "18 Wheels", Jerry Reed; "East Bound and Down"

Willie Nelson; "10 with a 2", "Shotgun Willie", "Worried Man"

I'l check my playlists for some others,.. these were just off the top of my head! (Oh yeah,... Any good shit kicking' bluegrass banjo seems to work well for me when riding!!)
