Thought I would post this as I know most 'mericans have a soft spot for the Grateful Dead. Canadians just don't get it. It was always one of my favorite things to travel around the might USA and catch dead shows. The National is pretty awesome. So old meets new...what do you think? I like the second set.

Wonder if....Canucks like Bobby more than Jerry?
It seems like they might but ![]() I'm a Jerry fan but have come to appreciate Bobby for his rhythm skills....but not so much for his writing and vocals....seems sooo poppy and slightly stilted and overdone....but perhaps it was a good complement to Jerry's lucy goosey.

Nice.. I will have to give it a listen. Looks like rain is a favorite of mine, interested to see how they pull it off. The national is a pretty solid group.
I am getting a bit of a dead fix this Saturday... hitting up Dark Star in NYC. If you are a dead and have never seen DSO live its highly recommended. |
