Ah...Phish. I listen to them occasionally now but used to listen to them all the time. Went to a bunch of shows, a couple of NYE shows, and the first three festivals. Always a fun time. They are amazing musicians. Creative storytellers, too.

A little bit here and there, sure. But, I don't get all the people who just get into one band and that's pretty much all they listen to. There's too much other shit out there to limit yourself like that. Spreadheads are the worst and that I completely do not get. If you've heard one WSP song, you've pretty much head them all.

No, I definitely shouldn't. I don't mind WSP so much, but their fans irk the hell out of me. No way I'd willingly surround myself with a crowd of WSP fans.

I've seen 2 PHish Shows both being at Bonnaroo and both shows blew my mind! ! So much fun! so many crazy pill poppers! G*D only knows what these people were on.
..I enjoyed the show drug free! ..Looking forward to seeing Trey Anastasio this year at The Hangout Music Festival (Just announced)![]() Just wanted to add...Jam band music is definitely an acquired taste...it took me a minute to get into it but if you give it an honest chance and soke in a full concert...and understand the way the whole band just feeds off of eachother you will become a fan...as of recent I saw a String Cheese Incident show that was mind blowing! Absolutely love them along with some Umphrey's ...all pretty amazing and there is nothing better then watching a jam band cover some popular music...Always like to see their spin on it..anyways love a good random music thread

90% of what I listen to is Phish - proud to say it. My iphone contains about 20 phish albums that I continuously change out...for everything else I keep a Spotify account. Easy. |

Just be careful of turning into this guy:
![]() My cousin once followed them around the country for two years sleeping in a tent. Dude had BOXES of bootleg cassettes of Phish shows. Haven't talked to him in a while but I wouldn't be surprised if he was totally fried by now. ![]() Seriously though, their stuff is alright but I never understood the obsession. |
