they were alright. nowt special. never listen to them now tho. their distinctive sound soon just became kinda tedious to me.

by all accounts Enselmo is something of a racist red neck in real life huh?

They are alright. I listen to them a little bit. Your right in saying that it tends to get a little tedious but they have distinct congs of Jawesomeness like Walk and Cowboys From Hell.

When back when Cowboys From Hell first hit the airways, I loved them. Later my musical tastes went more towards full-on punk. Later still, I started listening to everything. At that point, for some reason, Pantera had lost all their 'magic' to me for some reason.

I don't listen to 'em all that much anymore, but I still respect their earlier stuff (basically just excluding Reinventing the Steel.)

I loved Great Southern Trendkill. Plus, you gotta show some respect for Dimebag, he was a really good metal guitar player.
