My first was the best. I was 16 and went to a 18+ gig at the forum in london to see Queens of the Stone Age play. Very cool.

Well I have seen alot of concerts over the years. Funny this thread is here. I was talking about this similar topic with some friends last week.

Back in March of 93, me and a guy who I worked with decided to hop in the vanagon and head down to "the Knick" in Albany for a three night dead show. Everyone knew the band wasnt going to be together long. This tour was special for they had Vince Welnick on keys. Shows would be sold out instantly.

Well we got in..and quite economically I might add. It only took 4 beers, 2 z's of weed and $30.00to get the vanagon one block safely from the show and two tix per night.

Out of the whole time the second night was epic.
Scarlet/fire(with vince on flute)
Long way to go home.
shakedown street and a bunch of other tunes.

Haha great topic, ive got a pretty good one...

Went to see Aerosmith with a friend a couple years ago. We were under the influence of a few different things and when we came out we didnt have a clue where my car was. We walked around for over two hours looking for it until we finally gave up. The concert venue was not in the best part of town so i was certain someone stole it. I ended up calling my dad to come pick me up and while he was on his way I called the cops to file a stolen car report. After the cop left I asked my dad to just give me a quick ride around to see if maybe we could find the car. We drove for less than 30 seconds, made one turn and boom, there it was, in the parking lot all by itself. I had to call the cops and tell them I found it lol

Yeah. It was in a bar in Ithaca called The Haunt. Probably had 200, maybe 300 people. I honestly thought they'd half ass it for such a small show. They didn't at all. Really great time. Can't wait to see them again =]

the best shows i have even been to have been the smaller venue ones. i love the festival/big concert atmosphere but the best musical performances come from smaller shows imo
