Far out man
Grateful Dead in Vegas.
Not a cloud in the sky except for...
Lighting storm behind and around the stage during Space. As Space finished so did the storm.
Craziest shit I've ever seen on or off drugs!
I believe that it was the culmination of energy at that venue.

Big day out, 2006, Pill'n out of my mind, got to the front and started gropeing iggy pop, E sure is a loving drug.
Big day out, 2008, was at the peak of my pill as Rage against the machine where playing, was about 10 rows back n the middle of the stage, caught 1 of the 2 drum sticks at the end. I jumped up along with the people surronding me and got a good grip on it then lay down covering it as i got kicked and punched, not feeling a thing as i was in true bliss, its on my fire place mantle now. Ah the bliss that is MDMA, to bad about the mornings after...
Tool where awesome aswell in 2007.

BB King, Denver
Forgot about the BB King coming to town until I was looking at the paper and saw the ad on the day of the event. I arranged to leave work early, show up and buy a ticket.
I showed up at the Pepsi Center (Pavillions), looking for a place to park, security guard asked what I was there for and I said "the BB King concert". Oh, ok, back up here, cross over there and park.
me: "OK"
so I went an parked where he said, I thought it quite odd, not what I was expecting (really small lot) and I didn't have to pay
I watched where others were going, got out of my car and proceded in that same general direction.
There was an opening in the fence with a little room on the inside(this is an outdoor venue) so I walked in, expecting it to be a place to purchase tickets (?) Lady at the desk took a look at me and kept talking to the guy she had been talking with when I came in. I could see the concert area through another 'door', but hung out for a minute with no acknowledgement from the lady.. then I just walked in the concert area.. no one said anything to me about a ticket, in fact, several staff people made light conversation as I hung out..... <time warp> concert started, it started to rain and got windy, eveyone huddled together under the 'tent' by the middle of the show, I was standing right next to the mixing console.. excellent location!... Dr. John, Shemika Copeland, J.Geils and the rest was a great show.. by the time the show ended and the encore, the weather was nice... awesome show!
total cost: $20 for a t-shirt

too many to pick just one...
maybe back in 93 or 94, tripping at a club that Moby was spinning at (when he was a respected DJ). i saw all the dancers energies leave their bodies during the build up of his "Thousand" song & then fall back down during the decent. pretty cool shit to see.
or-
in 95 or 96, tripping at All Good or one of the other fests at Wilmer's Park & seeing colorful cartoon bubble notes coming out of Joe Gallant & the Illuminati's instruments while they played.
or-
in 96 or 97, tripping at a Phish show at Nassau & jumping the wall to get down to the floor & making our way all the way up to the front...just in time for the show to end.
or-
All Good '02 when it was at SSDD, we arrived on Thursday to sunny warm weather, by Friday it was storming, by Sunday it was snowing!!! craaaazy shit that year!
or-
Dubtribe's "goodbye" tour at the show in DC...drumming on stage with them & taking the mic from Sunshine afterwards to give them thanks for being such a positive influence on my life through their music over the years. it was a crazy-powerful moment that i will always hold close.
or-
Phil in Philly in '05 when i got a girl to jump on stage & give Phil a hug. she wanted to do it anyway, i just told her she should...so she did. she jumped up, ran up & gave him a hug...but more like a tackle hug. security ran from 3 sides, picked her up & carried her out of the show. Phil made a joke that she should have gone out for a linebacker position!
or-
Jerry's Bday Bash '06 when the light rig caught on fire during Keller Williams set & he didn't skip a beat...went straight from whatever he was singing into "fire, fire on the light rig" lol.
or, or, or...
i've been to so many shows & gained so many grateful experiences...many slip through the cracks, but many are held close to my heart. i'm starting to get jadded on it though. not the music...never the music...but the family, it's corrupted. it's drama & i'm over it.

Dethklok. Two days ago. Most brutal concert ever. (well, okay, it was awesome, but not the best concert I ever went to.)
I'd say Coachella 2001. Sooooooo many good bands / DJs. Roots, Squarepusher, Chemical Brothers, The Orb, Jane's Addiction, Photek, DJ Dara, Roni Size (their set was AMAZING), Del tha Funkee Homosapien, and Tricky are the ones that stick out in my memory. There were LOTS more, and it was soooo much to do for one day...

Dude I totally agree, the RBF show I saw was awesome. It was just fun. Was the show in a small venue because that really is the best way to see them.

I'd have to say... Minibosses, circa 2006.
Not really a concert, but more of a "show." The Minibosses are a Nintendo cover band, so they play shit like Castlevania, Mega Man 2, Contra, etc. The place where they played had a Galaga machine, so about 8 of us got trashed off redbull/vodkas and all played drunken Galaga. Then we all geeked and rocked out to some awesome Nintendo rock.

two come to mind for me. at bonnaroo last year during the tool concert. i've never been so exhausted in my life. we fought our way to the very front, much to the displeasure of the people that were already there. tom morello from rage came out in the middle of the show too.
the other one was at nelson ledges with just local bands playin. we had about 12 shots of tequila and jager by about noon and were just being retarded. i don't think i've ever drawn so much attention to myself. then we found some crazy fungus and things got even worse. my friend passed out in the middle of the main show. i could go on forever about that one.
