U all have it right?? I cant be the only one. If u do a local show and like the band post the link here.

I saw this band tonight at the weekly party in the plaza (Dark Hollow). My first time seeing them was 4 years ago at the state fair. They play great renditions of grateful dead so I like to watch and here them

Oh yea I've got a fair amount of sweet local music

Welcome to VinylRhino.com!
Granted these guys are a cover band but the show is always fun and ashley(the lead singer) is a cool chick. If you look through the band pictures I at a bunch of the shows.

Kelly Bell Band
I can always rock it out with some Phat Blues

OFFICIAL HOME OF FOOLS + HORSES
These guys have made a pretty good name for themselves opening up for acts like Bon Jovi and getting regular radio play.

These are jsut a few of the more popular ones.

i used to follow the local scene but havnt since i moved to maryland. old hardcore, punk and metal bands mostly.

there is one band from home blowing up right now tho. check out innerpartysystem on myspace. they just got signed to island records and they are awesome. very shiny toy guns like but definitely have their own sound.

Oh lordy loo - San Fran has WAY too many to list.

a couple favorites -

Geeky Rap - MC Lars - Signing Emo (He's a Stanford kid, but he's actually starting to get kinda big now. Apologies if you actually like emo - if you don't, enjoy.)

Electronic / Beatboxing - Kid Beyond (That'll explain what he does.)
And here's his myspace.

Electronic / Downbeats / Jazz - Run Return (Awesome three man band out of Santa Cruz. That's a link to the "music" section of their site, some mp3's to listen to.)

Metal / Hardcore - All Bets Off (MySpace)(couldn't find any good youtubes, they broke up a couple years ago. Of the one's on their myspace, catharsis is the one I like.)

Industrial / Rock - Luxt - American Beast (They're out of Sacramento, and got kinda lame later, but this is one of their good songs. Horrible video though.)

And of course, I've gotta promote my friends' bands (These are myspaces, and they're both metal bands)
Antagony
Hacksaw to the Throat
