Ha, if I rode by you listening to Deftones I'd give you a bro hug.

Why don't you like riding with headhphones?

I almost always ride listening to the Deftones... I'm old enough to have been listening to them from the very beginning.

I saw them last October at the Showbox Sodo in Seattle, a very small venue. It was completely and totally awesome. I took my 14yo son with me as his first ever rock show. He doesn't realize what I high bar has been set.

That is freakin sweet!!! The only time I've seen them was at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto. We were in the 200 section, so probably about 100 ft away from the stage. Even that far away the energy was incredible. Turned my GF into a fan that night! She said she could take her eyes off of Chino bouncing all over the stage...

gyah, grandpa didn't play the solo for MOP

I remember checking out Deftones in the late 90s too around the time when nu metal was big. I liked a lot of the songs I downloaded, but a few computers and a bunch of dead hard drives later, I lost all of them. Thanks for this thread!

Also, regarding music, I don't know how, but I find Slipknot to go well with my riding.

I just bought the new Deftones album yesterday, and I must say, it is AMAZING. I highly recommend it anyone that likes the Deftones.
