Killswitch Engage is easily my favorite for this category, Old and New
they got some sweet songs
This Fire Burns, The End of Heartache, Rose of Sharyn, Just Barely Breathing, Rusted Embrace, Prelude, Unbroken, As Daylight Dies, My Curse, etc.

other than that there is Disturbed, Deadseason (maine local band) Every time i Die, Godsmack, etc.

I cant belive i was the first to put metal...

HIP HOP IS GOOD, but then again bob and damien marley are amazing as well. then youve got death by stereo, in flames, ATREYU, and IRON MAIDEN.

i think depending on the weather and my mood i like to listen to completely different styles of music. when its snowing real hard i find that chopin and mozart are good. when its powdery stuff like The Roots, Notorious BIG, and Swollen Members. groomed days are good with The Doors, The Who, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash.

oh and speaking of cl***ics, does anyone remember DE LA SOUL?!?! hahaha also the album SMASH by The Offspring was good, they kind of ruined it with the rest of their albums..

i guess what im getting at is that you shouldnt limit yourself to one kind of music, broaden your horizons and maybe get into something you wouldnt normally, you might find that it makes snowboarding enlightening.

I'm an older dude, so Hendrix is always a go to choice for me, I think Jimi would have loved to snowboard. I'm also really down with the Chill P's, they've incredably versatile these days. I also like some alternative, Queens of the Stone Age, Sound GArden.

one i got to agree with 'surf n snow' scissor sisters are awesome (especially the song "i dont feel like dancing").. but why this poll leave off electronica thats some of my favorite music to listen to, playradioplay!, architecture in helsinki, shiny toy guns, teddy bears stockholm, goldfrapp, etc. also some of the more out there rock is good like wolf parade, phoenix and whatever.. but ill really listen to anything especially with sick beats like rap and electronica and throw in the rock i like just definately not country thats the only thing i dont put in
