Recently: Iron Maiden and Megadeth. These guys just keep getting better and better. I am truly shocked how aging rockers can put on performances like these guys do. Can't wait to see both again! Watching them has inspired me to get in shape. I want to be just as kick ass in my 50s.

and they were both better than Metallica despite Metallica's crazy stage show.

This shows how he just eclipses Fred Dursts singing, which isn't bad itself if you've heard some of his acoustic stuff. But Aaron's just MUCH better...

He actually went into the story behind this during the show. Evidently that was his first big stadium performance and Durst talked him into coming out to perform this song. The only problem was that he only had one verse and the chorus. He said Durst started talking to cover for him because it dawned on him that Lewis wasn't bullshitting him when he told him that the song wasn't finished - he was literally winging it and making that shit up as he went along. He said he wasn't sweating because it was hot, he was sweating because he was absolutely fucking scared shitless.

That makes it even more amazing! I used to shout this song at the top of my lungs whenever I put it on...

Now to play it again.

In no particular order because they were all awesomely amazing -- Pearl Jam, The Offspring, NOFX, Blood Hound Gang, Aaron Lewis, Goldfinger, Deftones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kid Rock, Reel Big Fish, 311, Sublime, Ziggy Marley, Unwritten Law, Tenacious D.....fuck, I could go on and on. What can I say, I love a good concert.

I've never been to many concerts at all, though a Five Finger Death Punch act would be pretty sweet. Those guys, the onstage BS, its awesome.
