Sorry should have added that. I used a pair of 2012 Flow NXT-AT's, and wore a pair of Salomon Synapse boots in a 9.5 Wide. I will swap out the bindings for newer Flows (NX2-GTs) in the future, but just wanted to see if I liked the board first, and used a pair I had lying around...

Well that's what I mean. If you were on CRC going to a more aggressive version of it probably isn't such a huge jump as going from flat or rocker to it.

When I went from camber to the SL I didn't notice any difference. But after riding Arbor for one full season (Coda then westmark) and when I jumped on to the Cobra I felt whipped around once or twice that day. Didn't take me long to adjust but the first 1-2 runs reminded me I needed to be more serious and not lazy. With the Arbor rocker I could ride lazy all day and not get whipped around.

I never got scorpioned but the board reminded me I needed to bend my knees more and get in a proper stance Didn't help it was fast/hard on Crystal Mountain. The next day we went to Stevens and it was 60F and soft everywhere. Not as bad.

Awesome to hear the positive feedback. Mine arrives tommorow, so I can't wait to try it out this weekend with the 1-2ft. of pow we're supposed to see between this afternoon and fri night.

I know what you mean, but minor riding adjustments between boards aside, I just didn't agree with with definitively labeling it as an unforgiving board. After all, it is just a moderately stiff twin with a pile of rocker in the middle. No big deal, I wasn't trying to call out the review or anything.

I hear ya. Anything with camber in it is going to be just slightly catchier if coming from flat or rocker, in my very humble opinion. But nothing extreme at all. Just a very very slight adjustment.

Why are you sitting in the middle of a run taking pictures? You look like a fucking tourist in this shot.

I'm pretty sure he's not right in the middle. It looks like the trails splits and he's sitting near the trees and stuff that cause the trail to split.

Anyways, I got to ride a ripsaw(that name still kills me every time I read it) for the first time yesterday and it was a lot of fun. It carves really well and is great for an all mountain freestyle board with less emphasis on rails, boxes, and stuff. Really good for popping off drops on the groomers at nice speed and I did a few tree runs with it, but I suck at tree runs still so I couldn't tell you about that if I wanted to. You also really notice the sidecut differences on it once you start leaning into the board which I thought was cool. That's my two cents.

I'm off to the side and it's an empty trail anyway. What's with the attitude?

Impressively dumb comment.
