GT, you got it, man. 2 cm longer in the park isn't going to hurt you as much as much as 2 cm shorter will in the pow.
randal, 155 won't be too long. The board really seems to feel and ride much shorter than it is so the extra 2cm shouldn't be much of a problem. I have sz 10 boots too and the 155 was perfect. better to not overhang i think |

Yea 155 wouldnt make too much difference over 153.
I did goto the ski show this weekend and went to one of the setups and a kid asked me if i needed help so i just asked if they had any NS boards. He proceeded to ask me why i wanted one, and that his "buddy" who rides for NS has them break all the time. I LOL'd and he got interrupted by some other customer or i woulda asked if he rides Lib...instead i just walked off instead of starting an argument.

I had the guy in the store trying to sell me the 155 but the more I look on here at what other guys are getting im thinking the 158. I live in the seattle area so thats the kind of snow ill be seeing this year. Any help would be great. Thanks

That having been said, I was between a 158 and a 161 and have never really thought to myself "Man, I REALLY wish I got the 161" except the occasional super deep pow day. I also demoed a 156 Revolver (wide Evo) and had no problems with stability at speed. I'd feel perfectly comfortable riding the smaller board every day. So ultimately you'll probably be ok. I'd just ask yourself whether speed or maneuverability/spins are more important to you and then pull the trigger based on that. |

Ohhhh dear. I have an 09 SL-R, just bought a 2010 SL-R, and now reading this is making me consider returning the 2010 and picking up the 2011. However, I got the 2010 @ $450, and the 2011 is $590 (cdn). So I don't know that the extra $140 is going to make the difference worthwhile. Still, nice to know that either way, I can't lose.

TBC, did you pick up the 2010 SLR from Boardroom?
I saw they had a few 2010 SLR's there on Sunday. I saw a 155 SLR there for $460cdn (before HST), but it was a used demo board they said. I decided to opt for the 2011 158 since it's only about $140 more. |

I sure did. I got the 151 which was meant to be a demo but no one tried it, so it's still minty new. There is still a 155 and a 158 (I think) left. There's an Evo-R I'd love to get my hands on too but I cannot spend more. Hmm boosted7...didn't you buy my Feenom goggles from revscene??
