Ditto, unless Vince felt the need to lie to me for some crazy reason?

I wasn't implying he was lying. I am wondering why the 2 NS reps doing the dealer demos apparently didn't know a pretty basic feature of the boards they were selling.

I don't think they've done any demos with the '11's yet so you may have been on a '10, which wasn't different from 09. that could be the case

It was dealer demos, the new '11s with all the new graphics & the raptor. I tried to talk them into letting me take a few out for a spin but they were sticking to 'dealer only' policy.

I see, that makes sense. They didn't tell me about any changes until I asked why the board was riding so much differently from previous models. They didn't really change much, just tinkering from what i understand, which makes some sense of what you were told. if they aren't going to market it as a new design, which they aren't cuz of the new design of the heritage and the raptor, maybe that explains why the reps didn't know anything about it. Or perhaps the changes weren't made until after the demo you were at. either way, it works out for us

I know. If I were to get it, this would be my 3rd board in as many years.

more of the same story-
I was just told and I'm paraphrasing here: that the SL is so freaking awesome that (we) didn't have to change it one bit.
And it was neither vince or tim that told me that.
