Rome Agent Rocker is rated 7. I think it is around that so I'd say I'm mostly in line with Rome's ratings.

The Proto is rated 5, but my own scale says it's a little more than a 5. Maybe a 6.

The Evo is rated 4 while the Artifact is a 2. The Artifact is a noodle to me. I'll likely be getting on an EVO soon so I'll write up a review after I abuse it.

I'm learning how to hit boxes now so I'll give a go with the EVO

looking forward to your review on the Evo. I do want a shorter jib board, but I don't want to take jumps out of the question. I also wanna stay away from noodles like the artifact.

Leo, looking forward to your thoughts on the evo. I LOVE mine on boxes and rails. It is so easy to press, but still kills it all over the mountain. (I taught a bump lesson on mine this afternoon.) Let us know what you think.

I am really looking forward to purchasing a proto in the fall but I am worried it may be a bit stiff as I want to play with presses and butters every now and then. Is it really that much stiffer than the evo?

my experience was a little skewed because I rode a proto 2 sizes larger than I normally would. Its certainly not a plank. I'm hoping to get on a shorter one asap so i can to an apples to apples comparison

The Proto is softer than an SL and I have no trouble pressing my 161 SL

Actually, same flex rating as the SL. I have no trouble flexing either. And the Proto is very poppy. I still want to ride it another time before I do the second part of my review. Also, since I am demoing the Evo soon, I will be able to make comparisons.

Two totally different boards. They shouldn't be grouped together.

The T.Rice is much stiffer. The only things they have in common are the twin blunted shape and centered stance.

If you are looking for playfulness, the Proto is much better. It also has more pop making it, in my opinion, the better jump board.

The T.Rice is a better all-mountain board because it is just super stable on everything. However, the stiffness means it's not that playful. Presses take considerable effort on it. It does have good pop too though, just not as snappy as the Proto.

If you like to hit everything in sight, press this, press that, butter this, jump over that and then go into the park and do the same... Proto.

If you are riding a big mountain doing cliff drops, maching down steeps, and hitting all types of jumps, the T.Rice.
