Just to further validate the performance and versatility of our new Proto CT our National Sales Manager Mike "Gags" Gagliardi got 2nd place in his division in the legendary MT. Baker Banked Slalom! He did this on a 155 Proto CTX and weighs 195lbs! With edge hold and stability being crucial in a race like this with typical low visibility, variable conditions this a remarkable feat for Gags to podium on a TWIN this size.
Congrats to Gags and our designers.

I'm gonna hop on Leo's CT sometime soon, we're pretty close to the same size, (6ft, 210 lbs, size 11 boot). I'll let you know how it works out, hopefully I can get on it next week if all our snow doesn't melt.

That's awesome VMAN! I was actually going to include an boardercross statement in my follow up review of the Proto, but I guess I can talk about it now.
I went on a trip recently to Nubs Nob in Northern Michigan and noticed that they had a boardercross course complete with a succession of three large rollers at the end of the course. Although my run wasn't in competition, it was with friends including one on skis. The Proto had excellent edge hold even at fast speeds and when I was making those tight turns, it held up really well. Both of my snowboarding buddies overshot their turns and went flying on their butts haha. I was able to make each and every turn precisely without scraping too much speed. It was really fun. And the rollers at the end... oh man. I got decent air off of each one and the last one shot me pretty far. Honestly, I don't expect this from a twin board let alone one with a mid flex. Very fun |

Fo sho Dice. By the way I love your avatar. That layed out two handed toeside turn with roost is siiiiiicck!
I think the Proto is right up your alley, a poweful but playful twin you can carve and slash on.
