I don't know if Vman gave price, but others have guesstimated that it will be equal to or cheaper than a Heritage. So >/= $540.

Proto CT will be going for $539.99(only $40.00 more then the Evo so not bad of an upgrade)) and the Heritage-$549.99

The season is almost upon us!!!!

I just have to say, that after my tour of the Never Summer factory this week I was blown away by their operation. I traveled there with an 8 year old that I coach and they were kind enough to give us an extensive tour. What impressed me the most is that EVERYTHING is done by hand. Zero automation in the snowboard production process. We watched them build a 2012 legacy in front of us and the amount of personal care that goes into each deck is insane. It made me appreciate my board a lot more. I will also add that next year's line looks outstanding in person. I know a couple guys there are active on this forum....vman if that was you, thanks for giving little man the carbonium mini-topsheet. He LOVES it.

Hot off the press!

I picked up a 158 Proto CTX from Salty Peaks on Monday, 3/21. I'm 210lbs 6'2" and wear a size 12 boot. I FINALLY got to use it last night at Brighton. That is such a great board!!! I was able to get into some mostly untouched pow lines, groomers, boxes, some natural drops/jumps and some spine jumps. The thing was unreal. This could have to do with the fact that I am coming from a beat-to-crap, edgeless 2006 Rome Machine, but I have a sneaking suspicion that whatever board I had previous I would have still be super stoked on the CTX.

Glad you loved it. Don't you just love the pop off the jumps/drops and the stability on landings?

I am pretty sure that some shops that sell a lot of NS products like Salty Peaks get a few of the next seasons boards early.

Please correct me if I am wrong.
