I'm 5'9" and 110... I'm looking at the 152, but wondering if it might be too much for me. (I should really weigh closer to 125 or 130, I have light bones...)

Last edited by TofuSama; 05-19-2011 at 06:59 PM. Reason: 5'9". Why do I keep typing 5'8"?

Any videos of the Proto in action besides the ones on Never Summer's site?

I am just about to buy a 157. The shop I am getting it from said there is a Black top sheet version as well. Is this the case? I have asked for pics from them as I can't see one on the internet.

If it does, and if you get a pic, upload that, I'd love to see it. EDIT: I have a feeling they meant black base, because those do exist.

I don't have any video but I have stills from the snowboardingforum.com east coast meet.

"We have white with black base and black with white base"

That above was copied from the email I got from them. I hope they are not confusing the SL colours.

Another sizing question

I'm 5'8"
165 lbs
size 11 boot
Previous board is an 07/08 Burton Custom 157 Wide

I was originally set on a 157 Proto but after BA rode the 154 and said it was good for charging, I'm second guessing my first choice. The 154 would be appealing for it's maneuverability but I wouldn't want to loose any stability for bombing down runs. As others have said, a few cm's shouldn't really make that big of a difference but I plan on making this my main board for a long while so I want to squeeze every ounce of "best fit for me" out of it.

Anyone have suggestions?

I think they mean the base has white with a black logo or black with a white logo.

"We have both colours, black top sheet/white base or white top sheet/black
base"

Just got this back from them.

Edit: I have emailed NS, so hopefully get this cleared up.
