I have the same problem. Just got a Proto and looking for some bindings. I looked at the DS30 and the Boss 390. Also, Union bindings are pretty sick. May ay to take a look at their models. Anyone have any other suggestions for bindings that arte good outside of the park but still fun?

The 2012 Burton Restricted Malavita. I think these are shop only editions though. So if the shop has access to other Restricted Burton products, then they should be able to get their hands on these. Excellent all-mountain freestyle bindings. One of my few favorites in Burton's line.

Obviously I can't answer your other questions but I have owned Union Forces and I wouldn't recommend them, except for their flex level. I had a crap time with their ratchets and the toe straps wouldn't stay on my Salomon's to save their lives. Unless you're rocking those things traditional over the top or have a narrow pointed boot I'd try before you buy. The build quality didn't strike me as a $200 binding either. I was just left with a very strong feeling of "meh" with them and I was glad I got them for 50% off. Some people love them though.

I use size 11 Burton Ion's on my 157 - no problems at all.

Also have the same query. Looking for an all-round binding. Have checked out the 390 bosses, flux tt30s and rk30s. The dmcc lights look pretty sick too. Anyone have experience of these on a proto?

Just picked up my 154 Proto with black base and red NS....looks siiiiiick...Pairing it with Black SF45's...can't wait to shred this thing all over the mountain...5'8" 185 lbs

Very nice pmoa! Thats exactly how I requested mine when I pre-ordered earlier this year. Mine should be in the shop in the next couple of weeks. Cant wait to have it in hand and get my 2011/2012 setup squared away! I'll be rocking Rome 390's. Have you had a chance to ride on the SF45's yet? I'd looked at those... I'd like to hear how you think they feel and pair up with the Proto.

Picked mine up - 154 like yours, using GNU Fastecs - love them no matter what teh haterz say, Northwave Legend boots - super comfy. My Forum boots killed my feet on longer runs.

5'7" 170 lbs

Alright guys, I'm needing some help on determining the final size I'm going to go with for my Proto CT. I'm 6'1" and weigh about 200 lbs, size 11 boots (large Nike Zoom Forces, no shrink tech). I ride a little of everything, mostly just like hitting jumps in the park and riding the whole mountain. This will be my do everything board since I can't afford more than one, so no matter what the conditions, powder or groomers, I'd like to be able to ride this thing there. I'm looking at either the 160 or 157. I have been leaning toward the 160, because of my larger boot, and I'm thinking I will probably go back up to around 205-210 for my weight in the future.

What do you all think?
