Im looking at buying a proto ct and im 6'2 175ish and have a pair of 10.5 thirtytwo boots. I ride powder when i have the opportunity too, fly down groomers and hit kickers in the park with the occasional jib if i have nothing else to ride. Should i look into getting the 157cm or 160cm for my size?

Good luck with that. They are sold out almost everywhere. I just sent mine back to dogfunk.com so one should be available soon.

I read through 25 pages of this thread and haven't found anyone similar to my height so I'm just posting instead.
5'7 175-180lbs 9.5 boot I am replacing my T Rice 153 with the Proto CT since I want something more playful and fun for smaller east coast mountains. I'm undecided on whether I should step down to the 152 or up to the 154. Either way they both have a longer effective edge than my Rice. |

If you want something playful for the East Coast (where I ride), what makes you want the Proto over the Evo? |

Im going to be rocking a 158 Heritage after reading snowolfs comments he talked meout of the 160 so I dont know that I want to go with a 157 proto for my second board. It will be my fun short go to board for east coast. I love my rice but I want something a little more flexible but not too park oriented. I want to have fun all over the mountain and wont be in the park a lot. Not a big fan of the graphics on the Evo and I think that might be too close to a park type board for me.

I was leaning towards the 154. One popped up on ebay but sold within hours. There is no way I will be taking the Heritage out around here. The Rice is ok for around here and still fun but the proto seems like it would be exactly what I'm looking for.

I weigh more or less the same as you too, which is all the board knows.
I ride a 157, but as your second board the 154 looks perfect. Good luck finding one, you can always wait till the 2013 model comes out. |
