One of the first things I noticed, my very first line was a long cat track and it felt like I'd never boarded before.. back to square one retard mode! Chamonix is full of cat tracks so I kept trying it as the week progressed and it became easier but I definately felt more comfortable on an edge.

I've found a great deal for a 154 Proto and was wondering if you guys think the size is appropriate for my dimensions. What worried me was the shorter width of the 154 compared to the 157... are my boots gonna hang off the edges? Thanks for any input
What size did you end up getting? I'm debating also, 154 or 157. 5'10, 165 lb, 10.5 boot.

Leo, how did you find the edge hold on the Proto HD? I'm in Australian and ride mainly ice, did the new RC shape reduce the edge hold?

quit crying and buy it or don't.

My Proto cost me 600 (576) a couple miles from the factory. You are as far away as you can be without leaving the planet.

Oh and your country is like 111% desert. The only reason you have a snowboarding industry is because Britain colonized it.

I'd like to add that although the edge hold is the same, handling is not. The HD is much more stable. Though you'll still feel bumps at higher speeds.
