I didn't need the convincing but I'm really stoked to get the lowdown on this deck from you, epic pics and great review.

I'm not a "bucket list" type but getting out to Japan for some major trips is just about all that's on it. Grew up in Asia and making sushi for the last 10 years I'm as excited to come to eat as to ride.

Your work as a translator is inspiring on its own, thanks for sharing! Good luck with the guides man that's such a badass opportunity.

Yeah, the food is as amazing as the powder. I keep meaning to take some pictures of the food, but only ever remember that after the plate is empty and the belly is full.

Definitely worth a trip out here.

I will be doing more tours and guide work next year, we are looking at the possibility of buying a lodge in Hokkaido or Nagano from which to base our tours and to be able to provide accommodation.

Which is where I am... They are getting up toward $900 here. Or I can just grab last years model for around $400. Is it really worth the extra spend?

Ok that's pretty much all I needed to hear. I plan on using it more for park anyway, so probably the CT is the way to go. Are you reviewing this board Snowolf?

Oldmate call melbourne snowboards and ask for 10% off pre orders. Should bring it down to around $750 with free delivery.

Thanks mate but I think it's still too much. I ordered a cobra out of the states last year for about $600 delivered. I'm thinking that the older model, being a little more park orientated will be the way to go as that's what I intend to use it for, plus it's cheaper anyway.

Fair enough. I was basically looking for a quiver killer so the 2014 one suits my needs much better. Get mine sometime this month
