ekb18c I tend to like shorter boards because it's easier to maneuver around. Yes, you may give up some stability at higher speeds (e.g. flying down the mountain) but that's a sacrifice that I'm willing to take because I'm not really doing 35-40mph.

The only way is to find out what your preference is. I know guys that ride around on a 151 and they are too heavy for it as well as guys riding around on 159 but according to the charts, its too big.

It's all about personal preference. I personally would go with the 153..

kaydubbb i would go with the 156 if i were you, obviously the 153 is going to be better in the park, but its not like the 156 is not going to be either. the 156 is going to hold up better on the groomers and in the pow and will be considerably less chatery at speed, but still be small enough to throw around as you wish. also the rome mod rocker is not considered to be a jib board. my personal prefference for a jib board is a shorter board like a 153 or 154 so if you are going to be hitting some kickers and doubles and learning to 180 or 360 in the park and going for the occasional jib the 156 is a better option in my eyes, the stability of the 156 is going to be nice have aswell. bottom line is that it always comes down to personal prefference and trial and error. hope this helps!

Board Size Advise (Size matters :) )

Hi,

I'm trying to decide on the size of my board. I'm about to buy the Rome Mod Rocker and I need to chose between 153 and 156.
My hight is 172cm and weight is 70kg and wearing shoe size of 9.5 . I'm 34 year old and I'm not a beginner but also far away from being an expert.
I usually ride it all mountain. Slops, Powder, Park...Lately I have been spending some more time at the park and I'm currently trying to learn 180 Jump.
I'm not that good yet at fakey so I'm still improving that as well.
I do love powder days as well...

Any recommendation on what to chose would be most appreciate.

Thanks, Eli
