Atleast you are close to the powder. Weird that teaching English is so hard for foreigners to get a job in. I suppose you are moving on up from teaching now?
Hehe. Yes, EXACTLY. Pretty much any schmuck who can speak something that resembles English can get a teaching job here But yeah, I want to move away from the teaching, and get my ass kicked by the Japanese in REAL company, and learn how to REALLY work I'm at work as we speak now

I live in the prefecture of Gunma, a few hours north of Tokyo. It's quite countrysidey here, with the mountains pretty close by. There wasn't too much culture shock when I first arrived, but now after 7 years here, I'm finally getting culture shock when I'm applying for jobs in Japanese companies. English teaching jobs are the easiest, yet one of the few jobs foreigners can actually get in Japan.

That's great that you found such an awesome paying desk job there... Was it a cultural shock? Do you live in one of the big cities? Sorry if I sound nosy... Its because I'm bored and genuinely would like to know!
Yeah, it's not the best paying job, but for the workload and amount of work we do, (and the amount free time we have), it's pretty darn good haha.

I see an interesting discussion around polish food and girls. I confirm that it's true and the worst thing is that if You live in Poland all Your life You start to apprecaite it only when You go further abroad.

I also have my own opinion that from all Slovian nations, not polish but slovakian girls are the prettiest. The good thing about it is that Slovaks understand polish in 80% without a single class of polish language

Food is very cool, I just had a friend of mine over the weekend and she prepared dozen of salmon stuffing cabage rolls. They looked so cool that I decided to make a photo and when I just reviewed this pic, it comes with the bonus. The ones who build the thread will be happy

Coming back to girls, recent polish folk hip-hop star made new video, which is floating thru the web extremely fast Check it out, You can watch it without voice, if polish disturbs You

enjoy!

Hey Lukasz, my mom is currently living in Gdansk. I miss that area. I lived in tri city and was always was in Gdansk, Gdynia or Sopot with the occasional travel to Hel and the rest of the country So small compared to Canada!

I would have to semi agree that Slovakian are pretty, because there was no class structure or divide there as much as there was in Poland The comment about knowing the other language, all Polaks and nations that surround us should understand Slovakian, Ukrainian, Czech ect... it's not very hard :/

Those rolls look yummy, what kind of sauce did you put on it?
