Dago91 2nd for the BSOD. Just went boarding with a friend and he loves the board.. it can charge hard.. we were riding all POW and he was raving about the float.

I ride a NS legacy which is the big boot version of the SL.. its a great board and the float in powder is amazing. Still trying to get use to it as I am coming from a traditional camber board. I will say that its not a hard charging board so if that is what you are looking for I wouldn't recommend it.

Chris's If you are still looking for a board and might consider used I have a Custom x 156cm in excellent condition that I have used @ 40 days. It's a "blem" because of a mistake in the graphic - that I cannot find. I way over estimated my ability and it is more board than I can comfortably handle or need. I was going to put it on Craigslist for $195 plus shipping. I am not home right now but can send pics if you are interested.

BobbyGrand Quick update:

Picked up a pair of Burton Ruler R: they fit well and are easy to get in and out of and the stiffness was noticeable right away.

Bindings: On my 1st run with the new boots my old bindings snapped....just paid $85 for a lift ticket so my only outlet was the board shop at the base lodge....they didn't have the atlas so I went with the Burton Malivita's - really like them a lot, even if I overpaid for them lol.

Next up is a new board: options after further research are below:
1. K2 Slayblade
2. Capita Black Death
3. Rossingnol Krypto Magtek

BobbyGrand Appreciate the input - hopefully will be making a purchase soon to take advantage of the new snow from the recent storm.

Other than tool less adjustments and canting I really haven't seen much tech in bindings that will have lasting power and permanent effect on the binding industry moving forward. Sure they market it like they change the wheel every year, but that keeps us spending. In another 5-10 years we should be about ready to cycle Lo-back tech back around as huge advancement in freestyle riding.

sclogger Boots are all about fit. Boa is nice for speed and ease of use but nothing supports better than tried and true laces IMO. Have yet to uses those speed laces thing, little lady has em but looking at the design I wasn't sold.

BobbyGrand Yeah the 350 for the new Slayblade and only 130ish for the Atlas bindings arent too pricey....

What type of boots do they have these days that would work with that combo? or is it a feeling / fit type thing? I will def buy those from a shop to ensure proper fit/feel but it there anything I should focus on?
